Today Yanmar have reported what a successful show Bauma 2016 was for them.
The biggest stand in the companies history seems to have paid dividends and some fantastic feedback about current and new products was received.
During a show press conference Yanmar's president Mr Jean-Marc Reynaud gave a speech about a fresh approach from Yanmar, concentrating on what he called a "total cost ownership focus" in the new machines. He identified that the rental market, particularly in the UK was a key growth area. Mr Reynaud also revealed that in March, having done several months of testing, Finnish rental company Cramo signed an agreement to invest in 800 to 1000 Yanmar compact excavators over two years. Thus showing the strong belief in the machines reliability and usability.
As mentioned the new products on display earned many new admirers and we will be bringing you news of these shortly, there might even be a treat in store for A&Y's Hillhead 2016 stand...
