Yanmar are the inventor's of the zero tail swing machine.
The ViO range of zero tail swing excavator's began back in 1995 when they brought the ViO50 to the market. The current generation of zero tail swing excavators is Yanmar's 5th, showing their knowledge and expertise in this area and the ability to improve each time.
The term 'zero tail swing' itself simply means the excavators housing doesn't exceed the track width as it rotates.
As shown in the illustration of an excavator working alongside a wall here.
At A&Y we offer a number of zero tail swing excavators, the Yanmar ViO range, from the smallest ViO10 (1220kg) right through to the ViO80 (8065kg).
We even have the B7 Sigma-6, which is classed as an 'Ultra Zero Swing' machine as it offers complete rotation (upper frame & equipment) within the crawler width.
