Throughout the month on June there has been an upturn in sales of the Yanmar ViO33, helped by the extra exposure it received on our stand at Plantworx.
This 3.5 tonne excavator is from the Yanmar zero tail swing range, meaning it can work up against walls and obstacles and also reducing the obstruction caused to others on sites. The ViO33 is fitted with the Yanmar standard features; VIPPs and VICTAs, which increase cycle times, aids stability and improves overall capabilities.
When recently putting together a features and benefits booklet for this model we found the following to be just a few of the main selling points:
Alternative Hydraulic Circuit
Users of the ViO33 have the option of using an alternative hydraulic circuit.
The machine is fitted with 3 hydraulic lines as standard, however the bucket cylinder line can be used too. Making this excavator even more versatile.
Long Arm as Standard
The ViO33 now comes with a long arm as standard. This has increased the machines dig depth to over 3 metres, as well as the dump height to 3380mm, both impressive for this class of digger.
Complete Cylinder Protection
New spring steel plates are in place to help shock absorption and protect the cylinders and rods.
The boom cylinder has been further reinforced to absorb shocks caused by using hydraulic hammers. The machine is now much less likely to be immobilised due to cylinder rod damages.
Hydraulic Blade Control
The hydraulic lever gives the operator greater control of the blade movements, making grading operations an easier task. The blade is now more sensitive and can be controlled with greater precision.
Large Opening, Durable Door
This generation of ViO33’s have a newly modified stamped door, with central opening hinges.
This is more durable than on previous models and still keeps the machine as zero tail swing, even when clipped open.
