The biblical figure, Samson is renowned for having super strength, just like the Dieci Samson telehandlers.
In fact The Samson family of machines consists of extremely strong and compact telehandlers. There outstanding power and agility qualities make them particularly suitable for heavy and intensive work both in the construction and industrial sectors.
We currently are offering four different models of Samson handlers, you can see more spec information on each one here:
The 'Samsons' are particularly suitable for loading and unloading materials, due to its swing kinematic mechanism equipped with counter-lever. This allows operators to considerably increase the rotation angle of the fork carrier plate, particularly effective if combined with the use of the bucket.
The cab, ROPS-FOPS approved, is designed to ensure a high level of comfort and can be further equipped with an enhanced air conditioning system which allows perfect air circulation inside the cab. The on-board computer with LCD display, allows the operator to monitor all the machine operating parameters.

We currently offer 29 different telehandlers in our Dieci construction range. Each one with slightly different capabilities to suit the requirements of your job site.
These machines are split into product families such as Zeus and Hercules and the model number represents the maximum lift capacity and lift height. For example the Dedalus 32.6 can lift 3.2 tonne and to a height of 6 metres, the Icarus 40.14 = 4 tonne and 14 metre, and so on.
Below is a list of each machine, where you can see from the model number its capabilities. For more information, including specs and further features of the Dieci machines visit our DIECI WEBPAGE HERE.
Alongside a wide range of fixed telehanders, we also offer Rotating or Roto handlers in our Dieci portfolio. These machines are the Pegasus models and are available with 360 degree rotation.
There are 5 x 360° models that we have already had plenty of interest in, they are:
Dieci do say that these machine are better than a boomlift due to greater stability and accuracy at extreme heights. An wide operational coverage makes them better than a telescopic boom and the all round agility and ability makes it better than a crane!
Below is highlighted some of the many highlights these Pegasus machines have, you can see more on these by viewing our Dieci Pegasus webpage, where you will find brochures and spec sheets.
Easy & Safe Work System
Inside the ROPS-FOPS-TOPS cab there is an advanced on-board computer, complete with safety features such as; anti-tip sensors, self leveling legs, load capacity sensors. The work system automatically adjusts the capacity systems based on the position of the outriggers to give optimal and safe work.
A new 5 in 1 joystick with a 'dead man' sensor enables proportional and integrated movements, even when the machine is moving. This results in far better precision of movements and is more comfortable for the operator.
The latest generation of Kubota engine technology, with fully electronic control, has led to a reduction in fuel consumption by over 10%. These 3.8 litres diesel turbo engines give a rated power output of 74.5 kW.
Dieci have paid plenty of attention to operator comfort and you will notice a very spacious cab when you first step in. Equipped with the widest door on the market, accessing the comfortable drivers seat is easy. Inside you will see an easy to read display screen showing all the real time information necessary to operate the vehicle.
Soundproofing, adjustable steering column, storage compartments and various accessories such as; air condiitong, radio and pneumatic seat all help improve user experience.
The window wiper even cleans the glass at the top of the cab for an unparalleled 360° view
Plant Hire firm, Plantforce, have added a number of Dieci Apollo 25.6R telehandlers into their growing fleet.
Powered by a Kubota engine with maximum torque of 170Nm @ 1,600rpm. The Dieci 25.6R provides a capacity of 2,500kg and a maximum lifting height of 5.78m, all in a compact package featuring vital statistics of 4.10m in length, 1.84m in width and 1.94m in height.
The lifting height will extend to 5.78m with a capacity at that reach of 1.7t, and a maximum outreach of 3.25m.
This makes the Apollo 25.6R a model specifically spec’d for hire work and suiting the requirements of Plantforce. Further options were added to these machines to make them ready for hire. This included; green flashing beacons, radio systems and reverse camera kits. All of which was fitted by A&Y’s engineers.
Plantforce’s Midlands Depot Manager, Joe McCormack said of the deal “we have been interested in the Dieci range for a while now. During a recent visit to the factory in Italy and seeing the quality materials and way these are manufactured made it a no brainer that we needed to invest in some Dieci products.”
Already these Dieci 25.6R’s are out on hire, proving particularly popular on sites where space is limited.

Those of you who visited our busy stand at Hillhead last week, will have seen the Dieci Apollo 25.6R centrally located on N17.
This particular model has the main selling points that its less than 2 metres wide and in cab height. This makes it very mobile and perfectly suited to work on job sites where space is of a premium.
Despite the dimensions of the machine the cab remains spacious, in fact the most roomy cab of any telehandler in this category.
The Kubota engine’s maximum power of 36.5 kW @ 2,700 rpm provides a capacity of 2,500 kg and a maximum lifting height of 5.78 m, all in a compact package featuring vital statistics of 4.10 m in length, 1.84 m in width and 1.94 m in height.
The lifting height will extend to 5.78 m with a capacity at that reach of 1.7 t, and a maximum outreach of 3.25 m.

Dieci will be releasing two machines to their extensive telehandler range during the show, by introducing the Icarus 50.18 and the Pegasus 50.26. Both models represent the company’s goal to increase loading capacity and lifting height of its machines.
In the case of the 50.18, the model provides 5 tonnes capacity and 18m height. The machine can lift 5000kg and reach heights of up to 18m. It weighs in at 14,500kg and is powered by an 85.1 kW Kubota engine that complies with Stage 4 emission limits.
The chassis has been completely re-designed, based on a new modular style across Dieci’s machines. Designing new models with a modular concept allows Dieci to use the same subassemblies on machines from different product families, guaranteeing standardisation of components.
Dieci is also launching the Pegasus 50.26 at Intermat. Pegasus models are available with lifting heights from 16m to 30m and loading capacities from 3.8 tonnes to 6 tonnes. The new 26m model combines the new electronically managed Final Tier 4/Stage IV engines.
The machine is driven by a 4.5 litre diesel engine with a maximum power rating of 127 kW. FPT’s NEF N45 Turbo Common Rail engine, in compliance with Final Tier 4/Stage IV emission regulations, makes it possible to combine lively performance and fast response to operator commands with reliability, simple maintenance and excellent fuel economy.
The new electronic hydrostatic transmission makes for top speeds of up to 40 km/h with precision control also of low speed travel movements. The transmission is combined with a separate inching pedal, likewise electronically controlled, and a servocontrolled two-speed work/travel mechanical gearbox.
To reach a lifting height of 26m the boom was designed from scratch, with four sections that extend simultaneously and proportionally. The chassis and turret are derived from Pegasus 45.30, the flagship vehicle in the Dieci range (as shown below).
Our Dieci products will have a presence at next weeks ScotPlant show, through our telehandler dealer for Scotland, Young Plant Sales.
Featured on their stand will be a 6 metre, Apollo 25.6R and a 14 metre, Icarus 40.14, two of the most popular models in the range.
Some basic specs for these models can be seen below:
The show itself takes place Friday 20th & Saturday 21st April at Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre. The Young Plant & Equipment Ltd stand is centrally located, along Avenue E.
