When we became the UK construction importer for Dieci machinery earlier this summer, it wasn't just machine sales we took on. We offer new and existing customers full after sales support, including parts and servicing.
Based in our Warwickshire headquarters we are already building up an array of Dieci parts on our shelves, with a fast turnaround from the factory in Italy we can get you the required part quickly and hassle free.
We already have full service kits ready for dealers and end users, which will be delivered in a custom Dieci box, showing which model and part numbers listed on the outside of the box.
A&Y's Aftersales manager Colin Sherwood said "The Dieci machines have an 85% commonality between the parts, making it a lot easier for the end user, especially if they run a number of different Dieci models in their fleets."
So if you need a part or service kit for your Dieci machine then give the A&Y Parts team a call on 01789 208924 to see how we can help - firstname.lastname@example.org
Based in Saint Dizier, France Yanmar have a fully operational production plant and research facility, which over the past 10 years has greatly benefited from investment.
This facility is constantly being modernised and improved as Yanmar react to market trends and changes in the way construction machinery is manufactured.
Yanmar also have an impressive European parts warehouses which uses the latest technology to pick from the vast array of parts stored. More recently a digging/demo area has been added, allowing visitors that all important 'stick time' behind the controls.
The below video will give you an insight into this facility and the way it works.

Just like that we're in 2017, an exciting year for A&Y Equipment. Here is a brief run down of what is coming over the next 12 months:
Our current finance help schemes were launched a few week ago and already have proved very popular with enquires coming in on a daily basis. These schemes are set to run throughout the first quarter of 2017 and we believe they are a very competitive way to take new machinery. For example a new 120mm ARX12 tandem roller starts from as little as £58 per week!
You can view the breakdown in pricing plans by clicking the link here - aandygroup.com/finance
During 2017 we look forward to bringing you news of new product releases from Ammann, Yanmar and Cormidi.
Due to the much publicised Yanmar takeover of the Terex excavators last year, we will be bringing new machines soon. These will include wheeled loaders and excavators, an area we believe can be a strength for Yanmar. This is in addition to the constant improving and upgrading of the current excavator range.
On the compaction side the lighter equipment, including plate compactors are having a facelift and we will bring you further news of that later in the year.
Our main show focus in 2017 will once again be the Executive Hire Show and Plantworx.
The Hire Show taking place next month in Coventry will be a chance to see a range of equipment up to 5 tonnes, with the larger Plantworx show having a wider array of our kit, including a demo area where some of the earlier mentioned new machinery will be working.
Our dedicated parts and servicing teams continue to help the machinery work to it's full potential. We will be running parts promotions during the year, to be advertised on the website and social media. Also our top quality A&Y oils remain strong sellers.
To purchase these lubricants or for any of your parts needs give one of the guys a call on 01789 208924
With all this and much more to come it will be a busy year. To keep up to date with all the latest development make sure you are following us on our various social media channels. Links below:

As we have previously discussed Yanmar are really driving a reduction in overall total cost of ownership (TCO) for their construction machinery.
A main way to reach this goal is to make the products more reliable, which will decrease the possibility of machine downtime and in turn increase overall productivity. The more work a machine can get done the more cost effective it becomes in simple terms.
Our Yanmar excavators have some of the best levels of cylinder protection on the market. The bucket, arm, boom and blade cylinders are completely protected (cylinder and rod) by a new design of reinforced steel plate. It is important these parts are well protected as it is common to see damages to these areas.
These steel plates are designed to allow for some spring which help absorb shocks as well as offering high levels of protection. Meaning that more intensive work can be completed using a hydraulic hammer for example, safe in the knowledge that intense vibrations or flying debris won't cause the damage it potentially could.
On the latest excavator models Yanmar have even extended their already large area of cylinder protection, for example the blade cylinder and rod on the new ViO50-6 and ViO57-6 has increased in size, once again aiming to reduce the possibility of damage and decrease the machines overall TCO.
Our AMB hydraulic hammers have been produced in order to meet the most demanding demolition tasks, whilst still providing customers with a genuine value for money choice.
The AMB breakers now offer more power than ever before, as well as increased durability levels. Features include:
All the breakers in the range are more eco-freindly, complying to international sound standards, meaning they can be used in noise sensitive areas and sites.
Back head gas, accumulator gas and pressure adjustment setting can be adjusted via a single maintenance window located at the front of the breaker.
The accumulator can be maintained without disassembling the mounting adapter and box bracket.
Our breakers are supplied in a complete box with all the required accessories (if purchasing alongside a Yanmar excavator than it can be pre mounted) Inside the box you will find: breaker, hoses, charging kit, workshop manual, gas canister, point and chisel.
The below table shows you which breaker model is suited to the size (in tonnes) of carrier it will be mounted to, along with the weight of breaker, pressure, flow, impact rate and diameter of the chisel.
Lubricants, particularly oil are becoming more and more important in plant machinery. Using the wrong type of oil can prove to be a very costly mistake, especially on the latest, more technically advanced engines, for example the new Stage V ready Yanmar engines require a low ash, CJ4 oil, with the hydraulic system taking a High Viscosity Multigrade Hydraulic oil.
Here at A&Y we offer our own oil, specially manufactured with the needs of the Ammann, Yanmar and Cormidi machines, as well as all machines running Yanmar engines, at the forefront of our thinking.
These oils have proved to be very popular since we introduced them earlier this year, with yesterday another large delivery arriving.
Not only are these lubricants very competitively priced, we also offer a FREE DELIVERY service within the UK mainland.
6 varieties are available for purchase in 3 different sizes, 5 litres, 25 litres and 205 litre drums. You can view the full list and find out key details of each type by viewing the dedicated A&Y oils page:
To purchase the Oil or to find out what your requirements are then please give our dedicated parts team a call on 01789 208924
Alternatively you can take a look at our A&Y Ebay parts store, here you will find our oils and service kits that are currently in stock, as well as a selection of other popular parts.
It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to oils, cutting corners and costs will lead to problems.
This week we have been putting steel tracks onto the SV100-2pb, before it heads off to it's new home.
All of our Yanmar excavators come with rubber crawlers as standard but there is the option to have them replaced by steel tracks.
More often than not the work done by mini excavators in the UK is more suited to rubber tracks, however occasionally steels may be better. Below you will see some reasoning behind the choice of tracks you require.
Rubber tracks are more affordable and offer a smoother, quieter and more stable ride for the operator. They are perfect for work on dirt or grass surfaces and of course when tracking over concrete and asphalt the most sensible choice.
If your work stays away from really rough terrain then rubber crawlers are the best option for you and they will always give high levels of traction.
Adding steel tracks will increase the ground contact as they are wider, however not necessarily much heavier. In the case of the SV100-2pb just an extra 50kg is added to the over all weight.
These tracks are for machines working regularly in abrasive conditions and inclined terrains. They have good climbing ability and travel over rocks and large stones easier, for example when working on demolition sites steel tracks would be the best option.
Users with steel tracks often operate larger excavators where these benefits are more applicable.
