In just two weeks time our Hillhead 2018 stand will be open for business. This year we will be showing machines specifically aimed at the quarrying, mining and large scale construction sectors, including new products to both A&Y and the UK market.
So what will you find on Stand N17?
Complete with a padfoot drum kit, making this single drum roller 14.5 tonne, this roller has an incredibly high compaction output. Faster compaction in fewer passes saves time and money on site.
We will show a number of models from the ever popular and reliable ARX range of tandem rollers. A key feature of these rollers include: an electric drive-lever making for smooth starting and stopping and is among the reasons the rollers is popular with operators. Other operator benefits include a rubber-mounted platform that limits vibration and an intuitive instrument panel.
This remote controlled trench roller, with its articulating and oscillating central joint ensures even compaction. Two steering cylinders help make the ARR 1575 responsive and precise, while the oscillation feature provides excellent stability on uneven surfaces.
Apollo 25.6 R
A rental spec, compact telehandler that is under 2 metres in both height and width. Since taking over the Dieci range last year we have sold many of these machines to both end users and hire fleets.
An 11 metre telehandlers that again is a very compact machine. The jacklegs fully deploy within the width of the machine and a tight turning radius make it the ideal fit for building sites across the UK.
ADT150 Swivel Tip
With a load volume of 8.5 m³ and the ability to work comfortably at high speed, the ADT150 is in a league of its own when it comes to this size of dumper. Visitors to the A&Y stand at Hillhead will be able to see the large, comfortable cab, as well as the easily accessed service points. Including a very clever electronics board.
4010 Swivel Tip
Despite having a payload of 10 t and weighing nearly 15 t these tracked dumpers have a very low ground pressure. Again a rotating seat option and cameras gives optimal visibility and safety.
It's now been over a year since we announced becoming the Dieci construction distributor for the UK, announced at 2017's Plantworx show.
Since then we have sold and seen much interest in the telehandlers, right from the smallest, most mobile machines all the way up to the long reach, 360° rotating Pegasus line.
Our Dieci website section is filled with all the information on each of the machine ranges. On each individual page you will find; a brief introduction into the machines, some key specs and the range brochure, which is available to be downloaded.
Clicking on the below image will take you to our Deici homepage, where you can then select which particular model to see more information on. Alternatively this can be accessed via the New Sales section of the website.
Over the past few months we have been completely rebuilding five Dieci F7000 mobile concrete mixers, allowing a major contractor to keep on trucking.
These mixers arrived to us having had a tough life, working 24/7 on a very large UK project.
Since then, under the care of our internal and external workshop teams they are now unrecognisable to what arrived. Engineer Mark Jones explained "the work we are doing here will give these machines another four or five years of useful working life. The machines are put through their paces on site, with each one having seen around 4,000 hours of service. For the most part they are mechanically sound which is a credit to the way they have been maintained."
The job at hand wasn't to just replace but actually improve the specifications on the machine. Clearly though the first job was to remove the layers of residual concrete and, in preparation for shot blasting, the mixer is stripped down to it's bare chassis for that very purpose.
Once the cement was cleared the mechanics roles and jobs included:
The Dieci F7000 mixers feature a 141 hp FPT powertrain and a capacity of 7.0m3. The performance of these mixers on one of the most demanding work sites is a credit to its design and build quality. The fact that this contractor has invested more time and money into them shows how much believe they have in Dieci products.

Dieci will be releasing two machines to their extensive telehandler range during the show, by introducing the Icarus 50.18 and the Pegasus 50.26. Both models represent the company’s goal to increase loading capacity and lifting height of its machines.
In the case of the 50.18, the model provides 5 tonnes capacity and 18m height. The machine can lift 5000kg and reach heights of up to 18m. It weighs in at 14,500kg and is powered by an 85.1 kW Kubota engine that complies with Stage 4 emission limits.
The chassis has been completely re-designed, based on a new modular style across Dieci’s machines. Designing new models with a modular concept allows Dieci to use the same subassemblies on machines from different product families, guaranteeing standardisation of components.
Dieci is also launching the Pegasus 50.26 at Intermat. Pegasus models are available with lifting heights from 16m to 30m and loading capacities from 3.8 tonnes to 6 tonnes. The new 26m model combines the new electronically managed Final Tier 4/Stage IV engines.
The machine is driven by a 4.5 litre diesel engine with a maximum power rating of 127 kW. FPT’s NEF N45 Turbo Common Rail engine, in compliance with Final Tier 4/Stage IV emission regulations, makes it possible to combine lively performance and fast response to operator commands with reliability, simple maintenance and excellent fuel economy.
The new electronic hydrostatic transmission makes for top speeds of up to 40 km/h with precision control also of low speed travel movements. The transmission is combined with a separate inching pedal, likewise electronically controlled, and a servocontrolled two-speed work/travel mechanical gearbox.
To reach a lifting height of 26m the boom was designed from scratch, with four sections that extend simultaneously and proportionally. The chassis and turret are derived from Pegasus 45.30, the flagship vehicle in the Dieci range (as shown below).
Our Dieci products will have a presence at next weeks ScotPlant show, through our telehandler dealer for Scotland, Young Plant Sales.
Featured on their stand will be a 6 metre, Apollo 25.6R and a 14 metre, Icarus 40.14, two of the most popular models in the range.
Some basic specs for these models can be seen below:
The show itself takes place Friday 20th & Saturday 21st April at Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre. The Young Plant & Equipment Ltd stand is centrally located, along Avenue E.
If you are visiting the show be sure to take a look at the Dieci machines, with more and more sales across the UK you will be seeing and hearing plenty more about these impressive products.
We do have finance options such as Op Lease available, as are extended warranty and service contract possibilities. For further information on this or any of our products please contact the office on: 01789 414525 / email@example.com
We currently have a Zeus 33.11, Dieci's most compact stabilised telehandler, making a great 'hands on' impression, working on a national home builders site.
Dieci claim that this machine gives the user the right balance between power and agility. Which from feedback received is definitely the case.
This model remains compact, whilst still being able to lift to just under 11 metres. The dimensions are as follows:
Height - 2310 mm
Length - 5300 mm
Width - 2290 mm
A big benefit of the 33.11 is that the jack legs deploy within the width of the wheels. Thus allowing the operator to still be able to lift to maximum height, even on compact sites, perfect for modern day house building. Another benefit to this is that you will have already driven over the ground the jack legs will be lowered into, allowing the user to check its suitability first.
In terms of operation, the Zeus 33.11 is powered by a Kubota engine, producing 112 HP of power. A hydrostatic transmission, complete with an inching pedal lets the user complete precise actions, such as placing loads with greater control.
As with all of the Dieci telehandlers, the cab is large with simple controls. The ROPS, FOPS, TOPS cab has excellent all around visibility, which has been praised by the users for improving all around site safety.
If you’re looking to work in tight confines and still need excellent lift capacity, the Dieci Zeus 33.11 can do the job for you with its short wheel base giving it a tighter turning radius and ample lifting power.
This short video of the machine working in Canada highlights some of it's key features.
We have finance options such as Op Lease available, as are extended warranty and service contract possibilities. For further information on this or any of our products please contact the office on: 01789 414525 / firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Pegasus range of Dieci telehandlers are versatile vehicles that are well-suited to the working conditions typically present in city centres and are available with continuous 360° rotation. Which to all intents and purpose can replace the need for a crane on many sites.
They can also be equipped with a wide range of accessories so they can be used for a variety of different jobs. This accessory list now includes the Romastor, a new accessory that further extends the flexibility of the Pegasus when working in confined spaces.
The Romastor is a 360° rotating fork frame that can be installed on Pegasus’s boom without requiring any adaptation procedures. The rotation capabilities of Pegasus combined with those of Romastor make it possible to handle loads of up to 2,500 kg in extremely tight spaces and in all directions, without having to re-position the vehicle, thus working more efficiently and achieving time savings of as much as 30%.
Romastor can also be used remotely thanks to a special remote handset (optional) with a range of around 150 metres, resulting in a major benefit in terms of safety and visibility. And since safety is always the first and foremost of all considerations, it’s worth pointing out that Romastor has all the relevant European safety approvals and certifications and is now available through A&Y, your Dieci importers for the UK.
