Once again this year we will be bringing a number of key machines suited to the hire industry to the Executive Hire Show.
With just over two weeks until the doors to the show open (8th & 9th of Feb) all plans are finalised and we are excited to bring you a mix of popular current machines and some brand new models, never seen before in the UK.
In Part 1 of our show preview we will highlight some advantages of the Yanmar excavators we will be showing. These will be completed with attachments from manufacturers such as Whites Material Handling and Rhinox Buckets.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
The Yanmar SV08 is a powerful micro excavator, weighing just over 1 tonne, that is ideal for use in landscaping, indoor renovation, housing foundations and pipe laying.
A key factor that makes this machine so well suited to these fields is mobility; expandable track width (680mm - 840 mm) allows the SV08 to travel through tight spaces, such as doors but also aid stability when digging. It's ultra small rear turning radius (just 305mm overhang) provides higher efficiency in narrow passages and spots.
Performance of this excavator isn't lessened due to size. The powerful, 10.2 hp, interim Tier 4 engine is environmentally friendly with clean exhaust and very low noise. As well as this the boom is fitted with a dual action auxiliary circuit (PTO), enabling users to add various accessories. All of which is protected by strong external covers and shields, in fact the flexible hoses have been carefully centrally routed to eliminate twisting problems.
ViO12 - NEW
This zero tail swing excavator has an operating weight of 1235 kg and the longest undercarriage of its class with 1440 mm. The extendable undercarriage from 830 mm to 1000 mm gives the machine excellent stability as well as a smooth operation.
With the highest working forces of its category, the ViO12 will bring you the efficiency you need in an ultra-compact machine.
This excavator differs from the SV08 not only in weight and tail-swing but also the operating controls. The use of joysticks on both sides of the seat enables to improve the position of the operator, therefore enhancing their comfort while working. With the joysticks, the operator also has a better control over the machine movements. Maneuverability, productivity and precision are increased. Yanmar decided to use the same tried and tested joysticks as for its heavier mini-excavators. The use of this well-developed system reduces the risk of damages and downtime, whilst increasing the service life.
Again a zero tail swing excavator with an extendable undercarriage (950 mm - 1280 mm.) This 1.7 tonne, canopy machine is popular in both urban and country environments.
Yanmar's progressive 3 pump VIPPs hydraulic circuit allows for increased working speed as well as smoother operation.
Yanmar's reliability is found in this machine through the clean and quiet TNV engine, well routed central hoses, ROPS frame, large rear bonnet and well protected cylinders.
The operator is conformatbale in a spacious work area, with a second speed pedal making combination usage easier.
One of the most popular excavators in our Yanmar construction range is the SV26.
This reduced tail swing mini excavator is currently being run by many operators throughout the UK and Ireland, from national hire companies to single person operators and everything in between.
One strength lies in the optimal combination of performances; low fuel consumption, minimum maintenance and exclusive standard features such as a knob for proportional control of auxiliary hydraulic circuits, allowing for a precise and smooth use of accessories.
With further features such as; full cylinder protection, a transport weight of 2600kg (rubber tracks), LED integrated boom light, Yanmar TNV engine and an incredibly low ground pressure of just 0.33kg//cm². Its not hard to see why this consistently proves to be a popular excavator.
In Part 2 on Friday we will concentrate on the Ammann Compaction products and Cormidi tracked dumpers that will complete our stand.
