This week we have taken delivery of some new Cormidi C85 tracked dumpers.
Included in this is two models, one with a petrol engine and one diesel. The petrol engine version is fitted with a Honda GX390 13hp and the diesel has a Yanmar LN 100AE 10 hp fitted.
Both have a skip capacity of 850kg and a hi tip of 1.5 metres. Further details can be seen below or alternatively on our Cormidi Tracked Dumper page, where you will also find details of the C50 and 60 models.
Unlike many of our competitors our 10 ton excavator, the SV100-2 isn't built on the frame of an 8 ton digger. The SV100-2 is it's own machine not given additional size by the use of counterweights.
Yanmar's 8 ton ViO80-1 is a combination of technology and innovation, it offers the performance of a large excavator whilst still enjoying the benefits of a compact excavator. Designed to work effectively on a wide variety of sites, it utilises compactness, power, versatility, comfort and reliability.
The SV100-2 is the only 10-ton midi-excavator with short tail swing that can operate in jobsites where other 10-ton machines have difficulties. Extremely compact, with a short tail swing, it enables you to work in narrow areas with high performances thank to its VICTAS and VIPPS systems
As you will know both these machines now come with long arm as standard and are Stage 5 engine ready. However bar having the same transport length (showing how compact the SV100 is to move) there are many differences in dimensions and specifications.
The below table highlights some of these differences and again goes to prove how the 10 tonner has it's own specific frame.
Ammann’s newest single drum rollers combine the highest efficiency together with environmentally friendly operation. The latest generation of Cummins diesel engines fulfill the legislative requirements of EU stage IIIb and EPA Tier 4 interim. The highest compaction output and lowest operational costs – that´s the new generation of Ammann single drum rollers.
The roller provides efficient compaction through the optional ACEforce system, which identifies uncompacted spots. In addition, all measured values can be displayed and evaluated including load bearing capacity of material, number of passes and frequency/amplitude values.
High comfort, intuitive control and handling ensure maximum safety of operation. The spacious cab provides good comfort for pleasant daily work. Easy and fast daily maintenance is ensured by electrohydraulic hood tilting and ground level accessible check points. Yesterday we uploaded a video to our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/aandygroup) of the new electronic hood opening, allowing easy access to the Tier4i engine.
A further overview of this impressive rollers highlights are:
Yanmar customers with TNV-CR series industrial diesel engines are prepared already for the introduction of EU Stage V regulations in 2019. Today’s entire range complies with this next regime proposal, announced by the European Commission last September. It is also compliant with the Swiss OAPC ordinance regulations.
Carlo Giudici, Senior Manager of Yanmar Europe’s Industrial Powertrain Division says:
“These engines, besides meeting the US EPA Tier 4 and EU Stage IIIB regulation, are already compliant with the proposed 2019 EU Stage 5 requirements which will limit the Particle Number (PN), thus reducing the emission of ultrafine particulate matter''
Just as important for the end user, the unique Yanmar DPF design allows a guaranteed minimum of 6,000 hours maintenance-free, which means lifetime maintenance-free operation in the vast majority of applications. This DPF design will also eliminate the need to use AdBlue.
In this case special attention was focused on avoiding DPF clogging in all working conditions. By applying the most refined and cutting edge regeneration strategies, Yanmar is proud to declare that to date not one DPF clogging issue has been reported from the many tens of thousands of DPF-TNV Common Rail engines already running in the field. At the same time a number of additional improvements are noticeable with the TNV-CR engines, such as the lube oil consumption, which has been almost halved from the already low level of the Yanmar Stage 3A engines. This is due to the improved production processes implemented on the machining line of Yanmar's Biwa plant.
As emission legislation tightens, Yanmar has responded once again with state-of-the-art engines. We are ready for the future NOW.
This week we have been one of the 183 exhibitors at the 10th annual Executive Hire Show, once again held at Coventry's Ricoh Arena.
The organisers are reporting that figures look like confirming 2016's show to be the most visited and we'd certainly second that at A&Y.
Our centrally located stand, showcasing some of the most popular Ammann, Yanmar and Cormidi products was a busy place.
Many of our dealers joined the A&Y team on the stand, spending time talking to current and prospective customers about the many benefits our machines offer the users and hirers.
The SV26 with Ammann 2030 plate compactor gained a lot of interest, with many comments about the spacious cab design, long arm as standard and ease of maintenance access. In fact during the show sales of Ammann forward moving plates, 1575 trench rollers were made as well as a Yanmar ViO17, SV08 and both Cormidi C50 and C60 tracked dumpers.
All in all a very successful week and we look forward to exhibiting again next year.
The tracks are blacked, drums painted and windows cleaned - we're all set to welcome you to the Executive Hire Show 2016.
Once again this year we are located on stand B45 and will be showcasing a number of products from our Ammann, Yanmar and Cormidi ranges. In fact the full list of what we are exhibiting is as follows:
We look forward to welcoming you to our stand and showing what we have on offer.
If you can't make it to the show then please don't hesitate to contact us for further details about any of our products.
All of the Ammann reversible plates have a modern design, with a sturdy protection frame, integrated central lifting point and a choice of powerful petrol or diesel engines making this series of vibration plate the most successful
The APR 2220 plate represents the lightest unit in the reversible plate series, with an operating width of 40 cm and a forward speed of 25 meter/min.
This plate is particularly suitable for compaction work in narrow trenches and in confined areas. It's an extremely compact and handy unit with an operating weight of just below 100 kg (Honda petrol engine, 121kg Hatz engine)).
This machine, like the larger APR 2620 and 3020 can have optional transport wheels attached. As well as wheels there is also the option of rubber mats, to avoid damage to paving stones.
Other benefits at a glance are:
If you like the look of this plate or any others in the range then be sure to take a look at next weeks Executive Hire Show where we will have an APR 2220 on the A&Y Stand.
A True Zero Tail Swing machine, the ViO38 is very versatile and able to work in many environments; from gardening or landscaping to construction sites in urban areas. Its performances will allow you to be efficient in any situation: along a wall, in the streets without obstructing all traffic lanes or on highly demanding worksites, the ViO38 is the perfect match.
We have a rare ViO38 currently on it's way to one of the UK's largest demolition companies, this particular machine with it's rubber crawlers and canopy weighs in at just under 4 tonne (3750kg)
Equipped with a hydraulic PTO plumbing supplied as standard equipment you will be able to equip a wide range of buckets and accessories for even greater versatility of the machine. Productivity is also enhanced by the VIPPS Progressive 3 Pumps System which allow you to complete smooth and simultaneous operations even when travelling.
These are not the only benefits this machine will have whilst working in demolition:
