January has been another fruitful month for the sales of Cormidi tracked dumpers throughout the West Midlands.
This week alone A&Y Regional Sales Manager, Richard Johnston has supplied C6.50 Hi tip dumpers to both Wildes Plant Hire and Double M Plant Hire.
In fact the 2 machines provided to Double M are to replace two units originally supplied over 12 years ago, which as was quoted upon delivery it is ''testament to the build quality and durability of this great product.''
The Cormidi C6.50 is a high performance and highly reliable tracked carrier.
Measuring just 695mm wide it passes through standard doors, additionally with the longest undercarriage (1320mm) and highest discharge height (1675mm at pivot) in it's class its not hard to see why this machine proves incredibly popular.
Offering fully hydrostatic drive, the Cormidi C6.50 is perfect for all your earthmoving and contracting purposes - making transport of loose material from A to B much quicker and easier. Ideal for smaller landscapers or rural landowners and farmers,
With a top travelling speed of 2.3mph, the carrier moves over uneven or wet ground even when fully loaded. This is aided by the innovative 'rocking rollers', where the middle two rollers along the bottom oscillate allowing the tracks to ride over stones or brick whilst still keeping the load stable and giving the operator a safe ride.
If you are visiting the Executive Hire Show in a couple of weeks be sure to come and see the A&Y stand (B45) where we will have a Cormidi C6.50 and C85 on display.
We are pleased to introduce the new version of the Yanmar C50 tracked dumper to the market.
This model, an important one in the Yanmar carrier family, has undergone numerous improvements to further enhance performance and power in all work places.
New Yanmar Stage 5 Ready Engine
The C50 is now equipped with the newest Yanmar engine 4TNV94CHT-NTBC which is already compliant with the proposed EU Stage 5 requirements. This means that the emission of ultrafine particulate matter is reduced and that the machines will need no further modification whatsoever to comply with future regulation.
The power of the engine has also increased by 10%, allowing the C50 to increase its grading ability by 16%.
The automatic 2-speed hydrostatic transmission is equipped with anti-stall technology which provides the C50 with a very smooth turn, without stalling the engine even in the toughest working conditions.
The C50 also has a new instrumentation which includes a new 5.7’ color LCD display and an auto-idle in order to reduce fuel consumption and noise level.
The C50 can be delivered with 2 different types of vessels, allowing the machine to be adapted to the application it is meant for.
We have just taken delivery of our first batch of brand new A&Y oil!
We are now selling a range of top quality oil, including;
With the recent deluge of wet weather we've had many sites across the UK and Ireland are struggling to cope with an abundance of mud and standing water, making access and productivity particularity difficult.
The Prinoth range of tracked carriers pride themselves on their ultra low ground pressure, allowing these machines to travel and work in terrains where others can't.
For example the Panther T8, measuring well over 5 meters in length and 2.5 in width, with a maximum payload of 7.2 tonnes has a mighty impressive ground pressure of just 156 g/cm3 (2.22 psi).
It is a similar story with the T6 and T12.
The below images show the kind of difficult conditions a Prinoth Panther is still able to perform in.
The Panther carriers also have a unique undercarriage design, allowing it to keep constant contact with the ground as it adapts to whats underneath.
The following short video will further outline the benefits of a Prinoth, keep an eye out for the comparison with a 6 wheeled dump truck travelling through the mud!

The Rammax 1585 is the latest development of the existing skid steer controlled trench rollers. Today, this machine sets the benchmark regarding compaction results and maneuverability in tight work space.
In fact Ammann market the 1585 as the ' strongest walk behind trench roller in the world' as it 'stands for perfect compaction results on different types of soil.'
We have two different models of Trench Roller, as well as the 1585 is the 1575, the main difference being the 75 has articulation steering as opposed to the 85's skid steering mechanism. Both models are operated via an infrared remote contol box (visual contact with machine required) making it a safer, hand arm vibration free option.
Large reductions have also been made concerning the 1585's noise emissions by using a completely new design of the exhaust system. These reductions offer a more comfortable user experience for the operator.
Further benefits of the Rammax 1585 are seen as being:
The Yanmar SV08 is a powerful micro excavator, weighing just over 1 tonne, that is ideal for use in landscaping, indoor renovation, housing foundations and pipe laying.
A key factor that makes this machine so well suited to these fields is mobility; expandable track width (680mm - 840 mm) allows the SV08 to travel through tight spaces, such as doors but also aid stability when digging. It's ultra small rear turning radius (just 305mm overhang) provides higher efficiency in narrow passages and spots.
Performance of this excavator isn't lessened due to size. The powerful, 10.2 hp, interim Tier 4 engine is environmentally friendly with clean exhaust and very low noise. As well as this the boom is fitted with a dual action auxiliary circuit (PTO), enabling users to add various accessories. All of which is protected by strong external covers and shields, in fact the flexible hoses have been carefully centrally routed to eliminate twisting problems.
The SV08 has many selling points which are outlined below, you can find more technical data and in depth details in the machines brochure which is downloadable HERE.
Once again this year we will be exhibiting at the Executive Hire Show.
Launched in 2007, Executive Hire Show has quickly become the unmissable national exhibition for the tools, equipment and plant hire industry. This Show brings the industry together and is the annual event where Passionate Hirers Meet Innovative Suppliers. To be held at Coventry's Ricoh Arena, on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 February 2016, Executive Hire Show builds on the industry's great tradition of hire shows.
We have an open stand, located at B45, where a number of machines from our Yanmar Construction, Ammann Compaction and Cormidi Tracked Dumpers will be showcased. All of the excavators will have the new Yanmar colours of black cabs and rams. You will also be able to have a look at the Rammax 1575 trench roller with it's innovative extendable drum.
We look forward to seeing you at the show!
